What is Catfresh made of?
From 100% plant-based ingredients. The Tofu variants are made from pea fibers; the Botanical variant from recycled green tea residues. The clumping comes from guar gum, a plant-based fiber.
Can Catfresh be flushed down the toilet?
Only individual clumps, in small amounts. Never the entire contents. Do not mix Catfresh with non-flushable litter. Dispose of used litter via your local waste system—organic waste, compost, or regular waste—according to local regulations.
Is Catfresh compostable? How do I dispose of it?
Catfresh is biodegradable and eco-friendly to dispose of. Depending on your local rules, used litter can go in the organic waste bin or compost pile; otherwise in regular waste. Small clumps may be flushed.
How often should I completely replace the litter?
Replace the entire litter every 3 to 5 weeks. Scoop clumps daily and top up as needed. Clean and dry the litter box each time you completely refresh it.
Does it work in an automatic litter box?
Yes, all variants. The fine grain and fast, strong clumping make Catfresh ideal for automatic litter boxes.
What's the difference between the Tofu variants and Botanical Green Tea?
Tofu (pea fibers) offers high absorption and familiar comfort, available in Natural, Lavender, and Apple. Botanical Green Tea (green tea residues) provides the strongest natural odor control and offers antibacterial properties through the presence of polyphenols. Usage and replacement frequency are comparable.
Does it contain artificial fragrances or dyes?
No, the scents and colors are plant-based. Catfresh doesn’t mask odors with perfumes, but controls them naturally.
How should I store Catfresh?
Cool and dry, away from direct sunlight and damp places. This keeps the clumping power optimal. Close the bag securely after opening.
